2012 Year In Review

Wow – it’s hard to believe it’s 2013 already! We were fortunate enough to have had an incredibly busy year in 2012, wrapping up our wedding season on December 30th. This year, we were honored to photograph several weddings for siblings of past wedding clients; these reunions are always a great time. We also had the chance to meet some amazing new people, many of whom have become good friends. 2012 blessed us with an international destination wedding in Thailand. In November, we shot a wedding in Chiang Mai for a fantastic couple, who took us on an adventure of a lifetime. It was truly an unforgettable year!

Just like last year, we’re ready to share some of the photographs we loved from each 2012 wedding, engagement, proposal, and portrait session that Adam and I shot. And, of course we are bringing back the highly anticipated voting contest!

Last year’s contest was so popular that our clients have been asking us all year to do it again this year. We even had some brides ask about it on their wedding day. =) There was no doubt this would become an annual tradition for Embrace Life. So, once again, we’ve set up the voting contest on our Facebook Page. “Like” Embrace Life on Facebook, then go vote for your favorite photographs of 2012.

Our client in the winning photo will receive a 16×20 canvas print of that image! Plus, one random voter will be awarded with a One Hour Location Shoot at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu, CA and one 8×10 print! All you have to do is vote!

Contest Rules: Vote for as many photographs as you’d like, one time per photograph. Our client in the winning photograph will be awarded (1) 16×20 Canvas print ($470 value) of the winning photograph. No cash value. One random voter will be awarded with a One Hour Location Shoot at Leo Carrillo State Beach in Malibu, CA and (1) 8×10 Standard print (a $296 combined value) redeemable any time during the 2013 calendar year, subject to Embrace Life availability. Prizes are transferable and can be gifted to a friend. No cash value. Voting closes Wednesday, January 23, 2012 at 10pm PST. Winners will be announced on Embrace Life’s Facebook page shortly after the contest closes.

* A few of these images were produced as part of a commercial photo shoot with more resources available during the shoot. Therefore, they are ineligible to win. In the event that one of these images wins, the non-commercial client photograph with the most votes will be declared the winner instead.
