Los Angeles Wedding Photography

Lisa and Aaron held their wedding ceremony and reception at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California. I love the inspiration I get while shooting at different locations and the urban / modern architecture of the Skirball Center brought plenty! I photographed Lisa and Aaron’s engagement portraits before the wedding and got to know them in the process. By the time the wedding came around we had a great connection that really made working together very natural for all of us. Check out the amazing work by Taryn Leach Events and the gorgeous, colorful flowers by Jackie Combs Floral Design!

Aren’t those flowers incredible? So much personality!

THIS (below) is why I love when my couples choose to see each other before the wedding ceremony! When we arrange the “first look” we often capture wonderful, emotional moments that rarely happen when a groom spots his bride from across a room or outdoor space.

In this last shot, Aaron is wearing a krenzel (crown of flowers) from the Mezinke dance, which is a Jewish tradition in which the happy parents are seated in the center of the dance floor, encircled by dancing guests.
